How can I totally delete my Facebook account?
I deactivated my account 3 months ago but when I recently logged into it, it was still there and some friends had sent me private messages on there. I did make a new account around the time I deactivated my old one and it's currently active. Does the old account just not ever really go away or get deleted? Should I start deleting my friends on my old account?

Just do it the old fashioned way and make up a random password and forget about the account. It is a black hole in facebook.

Go to in your setting and then go into privacy and then in bottom a deactivate account option is there; through this you can easily delete your Facebook account.
