How do I uninstall Internet Explorer?
I have Windows 8 and my Programs and Features folder doesn't show that Internet Explorer is even listed. I just had to uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome because my sister caused the browsers to catch a virus in their extensions, and honestly Internet Explorer just isn't worth keeping at all. I downloaded Chrome and Firefox to avoid ever even touching the dumb thing. Is there anything I can do?

You could uninstall Internet Explorer in 3 steps.

Normally, it is not able to delete Internet Explorer in "Programs and Features" since it comes with Windows. Your PC is easy to be infected by virus due to Internet Explorer can not block the malicious Ads messages well. That means your PC is in danger now. If you don't have any idea to fully remove Internet Explorer, you could follow the IE removal guides below:
1. Close Internet Explorer in Task Manager.
2. Download and use Internet Explorer uninstall tool like Perfect Uninstaller
3. Find IE on the display list of the removal tool and click "Uninstall" button to delete Internet Explorer.
When you finish the onscreen processes, you will find IE has been fully uninstalled from your PC.

Also, you could learn the detailed Internet Explorer removal guides in this article:

There is an example video for showing how to force uninstall programs from your pc. It shows you how to operate the processes of "Force Uninstall" function including moving icons or folders to delete the program and its related files. What you need to do is to follow the Next steps of the screen until you finish the program removal. This operation can be well used in all programs that you want to uninstall by using software uninstall tool.
