can i start blogging on subdomain on my main site ?

hello i have a main domain j0rdantube.com ,that i bought it before from hostgator and i am start thinking that if i start creating some blogs xxx.j0rdantube.com on my main site .Can i get them ranking in google for every subdomain i created? and can i get some backlinks to the tragets subdomain? also ,and of course that would be after the keyword research and on page seo content so am i getting ranked separately from blog to another ? also please if the main site is penalized by google is all subdomains would be penalized by google also ?

If you opt to blog with sub domains because you website is penalized. You can still go on with your chosen keywords and optimizing your sub domains is still okay for it will always find its way to rank on SERPs. You can still go on with your SEO strategies on your sub domains but link it this time on the sub domain of your website. Penalty won't transfer over but any links coming from your penalized main site to your sub domains will probably hurt more then help. Also don't 301 your main to your subs if its penalized the penalty could transfer over.
