honestly it looks a bit boring you need to make it more interesting. Spread the letters a bit and make the pictures a teeny bit bigger

It is too bland. There is too much white. Since you have a border round your main content try a background image for the whole page. It will make the the content area jump out. Then take a complementing color and add it into the header in some form of graphic.

You also have a lot of text in there could you add some dynamic effects to expand the category once clicked ?

Also try looking at font sizes and type faces for your headers of your categories to make them stand out more.

Your design layout is good. You should add Social pages like Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Google Plus.
