Question about Ps4 and Facebook?

I was wondering, if you sync your PS4 with Facebook does that mean if someone sends you a mail on facebook you can read it through the PSN or do you have to log in through the internet browser to read it.
I mean if someone sends you a mail can you view it through PSN or do you have to use the web browser

the facebook synch just posts your psn trophies to your facebook page and updates them regularly , you can't send messages back and forth
