I am looking for a new laptop, is this one ok?

I am looking for a laptop, but I am not too good with technology. I want a laptop, mainly for school work, social media and entertainment. But I may also play some light games, such as mine craft. But I have a budget of £300. Is this computer ok?

Yeah it's okay. It won't play minecraft too well though because it's quite a demanding game lol

It's difficult with the lower budget to find something capable of much in terms of `light' gaming - but I think this one is better than the one you have chosen - the processor is much better!

Or try a Chromebook - they use an SSD instead of a hard drive - much faster! - but you have to rely on a Google Account to save most documents to the Google Drive etc - most things are online (but it works really, really fast!) - plus, these are cheaper than other Lappys...

I wouldn't recommend Toshiba, I've owned one and you'd probably have better luck doing basic tasks in a pizza box. Go for something with a good processor and try to get something with a graphics card. I'd recommend this (It would probably be able to play Minecraft) :
