How to get rid of this virus on PC?
Every time I visit certain social media websites, I get these annoying pop up ads on the side of the page and every time I navigate and visit other pages, these annoying pop ups always persist. This hasn't happened before only recently has this become an issue. I run Norton Antivirus and initiate a full system scan, but once it's finished the results say that everything is okay. I'm assuming it's not malware or spyware installed, but adware. How can I get rid of this? Please and thank you!

What you really need is a NEW computer OS and stop using Microsoft Windows (All Versions). Linux prevents all of those computer crap and all the trojans and adwares all together. Linux is being used by the United States Federal Government, US Armed Forces and NASA...ALL of them use Linux. Linux is also FREE to download and it is being maintained and kept in a close eye by the very best computer Analyst Engineers and even White hackers from the face of this planet. Also other countries use Linux as their primary computer operating systems including Germany Belgium France Holland Russia Italy Denmark Sweden and many more European union-ed nation. For more information please go to: http://www.whylinuxisbetter.net for all additional information and facts.

Make sure your have the latest version of your browser and that you have pop-blocker turned on and ActiveX Filtering checked. (In the tools menu on IE)

Hello,

Sorry for the trouble. This must be due to an extension in your browser.

Can you go to the Extension or Add-Ons list in your browser and disable each extension one at a time and find out which extension is causing the problem.

Thanks!
