Download the ShortcutKey2URL 3.2.0 Firefox add-on.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...utkey2url/

Press Alt
This will bring up File, Edit,View,History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help in the top left hand side.
Go to Tools > ShortcutKey2URL
To add a shortcut, click on "Add"
When you're all done, press "OK"

To go to your shortcuts, press Ctrl+.
(The Ctrl key and the period key)
Then type the assigned letter to the website.

Hi Paul.

Answer is Mozilla Custom Keywords, it's a feature built in to Firefox.

Bookmark a website.
Go to Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks.
Find the bookmark you've just saved & find the 'Keyword' field (click on 'more' to show extra fields).
In Keyword field type whatever keyword you want, could be a single letter.
Then close bookmarks window.
Put your keyword in the address bar and it will load that bookmark.

Cheers.
