Which Galaxy S model are you exactly referring to? Samsung has many varieties. Are you referring to the predecessor of the Galaxy S2? If you are, then certainly an iPhone 5. Though the S4 and S3 are better than the 5.

Ah, the question I faced every single day at work as a sales representative for T-Mobile.

I'll give you the same answer.

1. Which Galaxy S model are you referring to?

2. What do you do with/expect from your cell phone?
Like games and millions of free apps? Like crazy features? Do you like simplicity? Do you want to be able to customize your cell phone down to the T?

If you want a lot of free apps and a lot of already built-in features, go with the Galaxy. Android is a great operating system for people like that.

I prefer Apple. Why? Well I'm very simple. I don't do crazy things with my cell phone. Don't get crazy Apps. Just use it for texting, Instagram, Twitter, calling and music. I don't want anything more out of a phone and the iPhone is very user friendly as it is.

Do you want a phone that you can add extra memory to? You can actually open the back of a Galaxy and pop in an SD card. Can't do that with an iPhone. What you get is what you get. Can't take it apart or take the battery out.

Do you like music a lot? With android, you can download music for free. With apple, you're stuck with iTunes.

Just depends on you and what you like and what. Go to stores and play around with the iPhone and Galaxy demos. If they don't have them on display, ask a sales rep. They'll have them in the back.
