How to add a link to your blog to a reblogged post on tumblr?

ok so how do i get a link to my blog when i reblog other peoples things? like when it will say something like "indie blog" in bold letters on the bottom of a post and it takes you to their blog, how do i do that for my blog? links to videos or anything would help thanks

Hi Tessa,
You can't get a link to your blog when you reblogged other peoples blog posts. You'll get a link to your blog if other people reblogged one of your blog posts. Hope this clears things for you.
You can get this done by creating awesome blog posts and getting more involved in Tumblr by following other blogs etc.

before you reblog, write what you want the caption to be, for example:

• all things rosy here •

you highlight the word, and on the text toolbar you press the little infinity sign [when you hover over it it will say Insert/Edit Link] and then you fill your tumblr url where it ways in the mini window. and press insert link and then press reblog!
