How do you post a picture of you to Y!A?

I want to ask a few questions like "Rate my looks 1 - 10" and other questions I need pictures for. I see people post links to pictures of themselves, animals, etc. How do I do it?

I think that if you have a blog or something you upload a photo of you and then put the link to that page. Or maybe on a photo site like flickr or something

Click Add Media---but you evidently do not know very much about this site at all, and Internet safety. First off - doing that is against the Guidelines here for chatting. Just because others do it does not mean it is OK. You should reporting those questions as violation of the guidelines using the Report Abuse flag.

Also, anyone and everyone in the world can see your picture if you post it on here and once your question is resolved, it can't be deleted.
If you must, try a rate-me site. Not here.

Use the Add Media link. Click on it and follow the prompts.

However, please be aware that "Rate Me" or "Am I pretty?" or "Do you like my ___?" or "What do you think of my ___?" questions are not allowed here. Don't complain if you get reported and lose 10 points for every one you ask.

Because this is an information exchange site -- not a chat room or social contact site or discussion forum -- questions here must be seeking knowledge or advice of general interest to the community. Asking about your own looks is only of interest to you, and is therefore a violation on this site.

Many things that would be perfectly fine on a social site or in a chat room are definitely not ok here, as this is an information exchange site. Its aim is different, so its rules are different. It's really not very wise to agree to something and then not find out what that something really is.
