Yes you can do seo yourself if you know how about how to do seo onn page and off page techniques its not difficult just you have to give time if your really want to stick with it.

Yes! Definitely!

You don't need to hire anyone to do SEO. All you need is to learn how SEO works and you can implement it on your website.

Furthermore, doing it yourself, you have control over the whole campaign and what to do. You get to avoid the bad seo companies if they decide to do black hat tactics that will kill your site.

However, doing it yourself, you are losing the "experience' the Good SEO companies have. The tricks they might know and etc.

Of course. You can do SEO yourself on your website. It might take a little more time than having it done by a company and to some people that ends up costing more, but if you have enough time than you can implement it yourself. There are many guides available on the internet where you can learn, especially read Google's own guidelines. Plus, you can look at companies on how they work and take guidance from them.
