setting up internet connection?

So, I have huawei b203 router, I don't know much about these things. Anyway, I don't know how to connect to the internet, I mean I connect the ethernet cable to the router and into pc but nothing happens,what am I supposed to do?

If you don't have it, you can get a copy from the website of the router manufacturer in the Support section.

Well, first of all. You need to make sure of a couple of things, that the Internet Service Provider has connected you and has confirmed that they have. Also you need to make sure you have atleast 2 cables pluged into your router. The power cable Usually A black cable and the ADSL/Cable wire for the internet in the right ports. Now if this is your own custom router that you brought. Its going to be hard because you need to set all the settings otherwise it wont connect to the internet

You don't say that you have Internet service. I assume you do. If not get that hooked up. By the way your Internet Provider might hook you up to the Internet for a nominal charge. That would be your best bet. If not then get out the user manual for your Router and Modem and start reading. If you don't have the user manuals then go to the manufacture's web site and download it.
If not maybe you have a friend that can help you.
