Am I the only person who doesn't have Facebook?

I'm aware I'm exaggerating here, but still... I'm old fashioned, I prefer to meet up with my friends at places, like old times, none of this Facebook nonsense. I don't think people "connect" by Facebook anyway. So instead, I use a phone, IM, heck I even see my friends in person to "connect" with them. Doesn't anybody else do this?
I even write letters by hand.

I don't have a facebook. Not because I'm old fashioned but because I don't want people to have access to my pictures or personal information.

Yes agreed. But I never gave up my real life to Social networking. You can have both. To me Social networking is just a way to make organizing meeting your friends easier, not an alternative.

A lot more people aren't on Facebook or don't use Facebook than you think. In the next few years I reckon Facebook will be old and people would've moved onto other things.

Many people who are busy with work do not use Facebook. So, its ok.

Its totally, personal whether you want to use Facebook or not.

However, if many of your friends are on Facebook and they tell you , you may join Facebook.

I have a friend who just recently register to facebook. and let me tell u this, sometime it is just impossible not to have an account. He was having the same opinion with u, but he move abroad for study, and when he got there, he needed it to find other student and to try getting help settling down, needed to make new friend and stuff like that. They had a community for student of his department, he was stuck to have a facebook account.
