Internet browser doesnt remember my username and password on any website?

whatever website I click 'remember me' on will not remember my login details. I know its something to do with cookies, but when I go to internet explorer settings and go to the privacy tab, the security zone is on medium which it should be on, ive tried everything to try to get my logins to be remembered but no luck. anyone got any ideas? thanks.

Make sure there isn't a check mark on "delete browser history on exit"

The first thing I would attempt is to go to the menu bar and click Tools, Internet Options, go to the Advanced tab and do TWO things in there. Click Restore advanced settings and then click Reset... This will put your Internet Explorer back to original settings and hopefully fix the situation.

If not another thing you can do is check what version you have by going to the menu bar again and clicking Help > About Internet Explorer. If you have any version under 9 then I recommend you upgrade to at least 9 or 10.
