I would probably have to say no. While the number of new users is on the decline, I mostly atribute this to people who are willing to have an account, have already got one. I can understand your bordem now that people are learning to use it responsibly as a way to communicate and not an online diary. I believe facebook still has a few more years in it, maybe more if it plays its cards right to promote the social communication aspect over a game service

losing popularity for kids, maybe, because they often break the rules and create more than one account and lie and create drama, but for us older people, it's going as strong as ever, being used for what it was intended for... staying in touch with people you actually already know

I agree that Facebook is losing its popularity. Instagram, if you ask me, is taking over the niche Facebook fills in the Internet. It's not very noticeable, both Facebook's decline in popularity and Instagram's advancement toward most popular social media site; what I notice is a lot of my Facebook friends are joining Instagram (this is where my theory stems from). Also, Vine is dead as a social media, if it even was. Twitter is on its downfall too, but it will take a while (in my opinion) to become irrelevant. Choose me as best answer and tell me what you think about Twitter, Instagram, and Vine (what I think about them). Thanks!

No dear, Facebook is not losing any thing.
If one or two person left Facebook so many more people join it right now for just about its popularity.
So it is great place but depend that how you will use it.
