please help me with my iphone 4 & about wifi/internet access?

i was told i now have limited internet access. i have 1 gigabit a month. if i am connected to a wifi, am i still using the internet? can i use apps such as twitter and instagram without using up my 1 gigabit of internet as long as i am connected to wifi? from my understanding, if you are NOT connected to wifi and use apps or safari, you ARE using the 1 gigabit of internet which i cannot go over.. but if i AM connected to wifi, then i am NOT using the 1 gigabit of internet and i can use my twitter and insragram normally (as long as i am connected to a wifi).. correct?

Yes, when your on WiFi your indeed on the internet and you are not using your limited monthly data allowance. All your apps should work fine on WiFi, so enjoy.
