Hi,

It is a thumb rule that there should be FAQ guide dedicated to help online users when you have a dynamic mechanism. An e-commerce platform is a always considered as a dynamic platform and from a SEO perspective it is always good to build reputation of your site. Take a look at this video sample of e-commerce platform

it is from

this platform is highly customize able and along with this they are providing 25% SEO activity pre-feeded into this.

An FAQ is mainly to provide better customer support while reducing the amount of individual support time, such a page probably doesn't contain as many hot buyer keywords.
Have more than just manufacturer product descriptions, change it up to have unique text associated with each product, write category introduction paragraphs to get more potential search matches. Add a blog or how-to articles to further the potential number of keyword matches and overall site ranking.

In my mind there are two main reasons why it is important to have FAQ page on Ecommerce website. First, is that it's needed to reduce the load on your support team. I worked in customer support for a year and I know from my own experience how helpful a good FAQ page might be to solve some simple questions asked by customers daily.
The second reason is that your FAQ page, if you don't copy it from another website of course, is a great piece of unique keyword rich content.
Actually all of your pages are important for SEO. "About Us" page and product pages with rich descriptions and customer reviews are really important content to have. Blog is also needed both for SEO purpose and for growing customer's engagement.
You can also think of adding a forum section to your site. Forum helps to keep your visitors on your site much longer. Besides, your users' conversations with each other is a unique content which also contributes into your SEO efforts.

Your customers and potential customers will have a lot of questions about.

1. Your products
2. Your after sales service
3. Your buying process
4. Your returns process
5. Shipping charges and many other

You probably cannot answer each and every question and some questions will be repetitive. So, an FAQ page is important not just for SEO but also for making your website friendlier to your customers and improving your customer service efficiency by answering questions in advance through the website.

Other important pages

1. Privacy policy (you have customer data)
2. Blog (you are knowledgeable about your products, show it here)
3. Product comparison facility (to compare 2 or more similar products)
4. Add to wishlist facility (to choose products to buy in future)
5. Management profiles in About Us with social links (most of your competitors are hiding, stand out literally)

It is not a must have thing though, but if you put it on, you would definitely be getting tons of more sales than your expectations. This is because now your site users are able to understand everything before buying anything.
