Copyright is automatic within the UK / Europe, as long as it is a creative or artistic work.

Where possible you should include a formal Copyright statement along the lines
Copyright © [your name] 2013


â„¢ means you claim it as a trademark but it is not formally registered so has no actual legal protection.

If you register a trademark, you can then use ®
This is done via the Intellectual Property Office (AKA Patent Office).

Trade Mark - yes (if it isn't registered, it isn't a trade mark)
