Instagram wont let me take pictures?

Instagram wont let me take pictures?
I tried to take a picture on instagram with my Droid X, it said my sd card was too full. But my regular camera on my phone says i can take up to 30 more pictures??? Why wont instagram also let me take 30a more pictures? My sd card is not full yet.
