Yesterday i sended my cousin a message on facebook at 2:40 am and i went on facebook to check if he wrote back and it doesn't say seen so when it says seen does it mean the person already checked the message and when it doesn't say seen does it mean the person didn't see the message and don't say its a time difference because we both live in new york.

If it Says Seen Than They Read And Open the Message if Seen is Not Recorded Than They Have Not Read/Opened the Message

they may have read it and then marked it as unread to prevent you from knowing it was read
