ISP checking history?
If we changed ISP, or got them to see what the problem is with our internet, would they provide a list of websites we'd been on? Or check what we'd been doing? Just curious

Not a lot of information to go on here but I`ll have a go at it.
The websites that you have visited are recorded by your ISP ( who know who you are ) to resolve bill disputes and because they are legally required to do it in much the same way as telephone itemised billing for telephones works.

The content of any communication is never recorded, but the address of the originator and the recipient of it always is and has to be retained for many years by law.
If you have a problem with your Internet then file a fault with your ISP get them to check it out.
The ISP cannot provide you with any information due to various data protection acts.
Regards, Bob.
