Should I get the iPhone 5(s) or the S4?
I've been debating for a really long time and I have no idea which one to get. I'm a freshman in high school. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze. It was blazin' fast before it updated, which is so sad, because now it shuts off and lags 24/7. I hate the Samsung's keyboard so much to the point where I had to give in and pay $4 for Swiftkey and I never pay for apps. I have an iPod 4 8gb, it's not that smooth anymore, but I adore the keyboard. I like phones that are big and thin like the S4 but I love the design of both phones. I've heard that the S4 lags every now and then, and that the iPhone is extremely smooth. I'm looking for a more unlimited app store, because I'm jealous of how sometimes when I need an app, Google play store doesn't even have a close alternative! I'll use my phone mostly for picture taking, Facebook, Instagram, photography apps, and maybe games. I'm also into pretty cases and both phones have nice cases. Which phone should I get? The iPhone 5 (maybe S) or the S4? Also, I tend to drop my phone alot and I don't want a cracked screen because they're so expensive to repair. My brother dropped my iPod once and the screen is just dead.

I have never had an ianything, but I love my S4. They are very customizable. So many cases and things for them on Amazon just like you can find for the iPhone. I always have had Androids so they are easy to operate and most are the same. Once you have one you know how to work the next. I love that I can change the font on my phone. And it changes almost every font including in your apps. They also have a beginners mode I put my mom in until she was used to a smart phone, then you can change it. lol

Base on the information you provided..its a safe bet that you go ahead and get yourself an iPhone 5s. In order for Apple to drive up sales for its investors. They will discontinue the iPhone 5 following the debut of the 2 newer model and it will be replace with two models and they are the 5c (cheap plastic/incremental upgrade) and the 5s (Apple's flagship and their bread n butter/bigger upgrade). In regards to you and having your slippery phone come out of your hands like jumping beans. Apple offers a care plan that cost $99 bucks and in any incident where your screen is broken because of the problem of slippery iPhone. You can sleep more soundly at night to know it will cost about $49 bucks to get it replace on site at an Apple store Smile As for the Samsung...they are equally amazing phone (I have the Galaxy note 1 and eagerly waiting for the note 3. The cost of a screen replacement no matter how you look at it cost $200 bucks min if not more than the deductibles on your insurance Sad

iphone has the best security, imessage, siri, best apps, facetime, fingerprint access, panoramic photos, burst mode camera, and is the nicest design. Free itunes radio, Airdrop, and call blocking is also now there on iOS 7. Another thing is they also have the Apple stores everywhere to get professional help if you need it. Jmo but I think you will regret it later if you do not get it, but get whatever you like.

Both of them have large App stores and do a lot of neat things. Both take great pictures. I don't know if the Galaxy has great games or not, you'd know better than I would as you've had an Android phone, but I do know iOS does. For me, there are two distinctions that make me choose iPhone over the Galaxy:

1. If something happens to your Galaxy, pixels burn out, sound stops working, where do you go to find someone who can fix that easily in one day or get you a replacement? Whatever you do will take days. I manage all of our telecommunications at my job, and if something goes wrong with an iPhone, I take it to the local Apple store. Everything is always resolved quickly and the employee has a working phone again, that very day.

2. Every year I buy the latest iPhone and sell it on eBay the year afterwards, using that money to buy another. I literally make, net, after buying a new case for the new phone/any accessories, $100. Every year, +$100 in my pocket every single year I upgrade. (I am on a business plan that allows annual upgrades.) You still make a bit of cash if you upgrade every other year, though not as much.

Our phones are really important for our business, so we need then to be in top working condition at all times. That's why going with a model that doesn't have a store that does same day repairs just is not an option for us. And, losing money on our telecommunications in this economy is not an option either. Thus, iPhone.

I have the iPhone 5 right now, and it is definitely a lot harder to crack than earlier models. Still, I'd keep a case on it, just to be sure, though.

It sounds like you've already tried Android, and weren't completely thrilled with it. Why not give a new ecosystem a try? I know it is not worse than what you've gone through...

If you do decide to get an iPhone and want any help with finding great games or apps about literally anything or tips or tricks, I've had iPhones since back when they had the 3G. Send me a message! (Also, when it comes to pretty cases, every year I design a theme. Case, cell phone strap (yes, there are ways to put them on an iPhone) and more. I could also help you with finding the sites with the most gorgeous cases and phone accessories.)
