my blogspot blog is expiring what should i do?

I created a blog on blogspot 5 years back. I didnt get time to edit and now i want to make it popular....since 3 months, its getting 12 views per day.

But after 1 month its gonna expire. what should i do???
if i buy a domain name for my blog will it still expire or it will work for years??

blogs on blogspot never expires.

I have been using blogger.com for the past 6 years now and I have never heard of an expiry date for the blogs.
