What happens when your order something online and you forget to put in your postal code?
I bought something online earlier off a website and submitted my order, then after I relaized that I didn't put in my post code. I only put in my address and the country I live in. Now my order is now submitted so as soon as I realized I contacted the seller and explained that I forgot to add in my post code and I typed out my full address.

They haven't shipped the item or replied to my email yet, but do you think they will send it to the right address?

What is the worst that can happen? I'm worried.

Do you have your order no? Did you print a receipt? If you have your order no, go back to the web site and find some contact information under customer service. They call or email them with the order no and explain that you forgot your post code. If you don't have your order no, did you put in your email address to they can contact you if there is a problem with the order? I wouldn't let it go, I would do something now.

It should still get delivered to you, but it depends on who delivers it.
If it is UPS or similar they will be guided by a SatNav which might require a post code, but if it is the Royal Mail then the postman will be a local who will know your name and address.
There are sites that will attach a post code to an address and on line businesses should know them;
http://www.postoffice.co.uk/postcode-finder
So don`t worry too much about a missing postcode.
Regards, Bob.
