Does he possibly like me?

Does he possibly like me?
So, there's this guy, he goes a year above me in high school and sometimes I saw him, but we never actually talked. However, last week, me and one of my classmates were advertising some sort of event in their classroom and a day after, he sent me a Facebook friend request. Then, he started poking me and even messaged me. We talked a few hours, but since I suck at keeping a conversation going, especially with strangers, we just stopped talking.
Next day again: poke-war, messages, getting out of topic ideas. After that, we saw each other in school, while walking to our classes, and he kept making eye contact, without a word. When we met again, the same day, he said hello, but we didn't have the chance for an actual conversation. Since then, I've only got a few pokes, nothing more.
Now I don't know what to do. Should I write him or wait until he does something? I'd write him, but I'm afraid, that the reason he doesn't write me is that he thinks I'm a bore (which I'd completely understand by the way). Also, if you have some suggestions for things to talk about? I really suck at stuff like this. Music, summer plans, hobbies, school, teachers... uh.
Thanks for the answers Smile

PS.: Sorry if I made mistakes, English isn't my native language. Smile

Hi, he may like you but don't get your hopes up anywhere. How long have you been talking to him? Leave it for around 3 weeks and if he keeps giving you signs, then simply ask him if he would like to hang out sometime and talk about your feelings. Let me know how it goesSmile
