Is it normal for a website that was recently moved to fluctuate in search engines?
Last night I noticed my website actually showed up in a keyword search on the tenth page of google. Now today it isn't showing up on google. Is it possible it could take a few weeks for google to get used to the site and show up in rankings?

I'm working on disavowing bad backlinks and adding content to the blog on the site, etc.

Thanks

This is very normal, as it will take some time for Google to grab your website data....just give it some time and I'm sure you will be on page 1. Just make sure to do some hard core SEO work as well

Yea, people use the term Google Dance for such fluctuation, page 10 is the far end of the radar range already, you have a long way to go to have a worthwhile listing, keep up with link getting as well as the blog content.

To monitor ratings for your list of target keywords you can use something like either the free rankchecker for firefox http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/ to generate a search ranking report for the list of keywords, the latter has some other analysis functions.

Hi sometimes your website disappears because after the bots have crawled your website it could land on the 1st page of google like mine.

We all know how important it is to rank high on a Search Engine Results Page (SERP) – especially on Google. For many, ranking high with Google is the ‘holy grail' of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – and it should be. Google is still the most popular search engine, by far. It should come as no surprise that many people tailor their SEO efforts to Google specifically. They are often confused and frustrated to find that after all that work, their site is still not ranking on Google. Many people make the mistake of submitting the same article to every single article directory on the internet in addition to displaying the article on your website which will do you a great disservice in your internet marketing efforts. Not only is this 'duplicate content' causative of possible legal conflict between authors and article directories, it also leads to problems between your website and the search engines.
