iPhone 5s got stolen?
In the beginning of this semester, a new girl sat by me in art. Throughout the past 3 months we became friends and throughout those 3 months she would always tell me how she's going to get an iPhone 5s like me soon.
Last week on Monday, I reached into my bag only to realize my phone isn't in there. Worst day of my life. I went to the school officer and filed a police report. She asked if I had any suspects and I answered yes and gave her the details of the girl who sits next to me in art class.
Thankfully I have find my iphone app installed on my phone, except throughout the last 9 days, the phone has been offline. I've come to the conclusion she knew my pass code to my phone.
As soon as I was beginning to lose hope, she uploaded a picture of her, holding my iPhone 5s on instagram. I screenshotted the picture and sent it to my school officer.
Today the girl came in and starting going off about how she didn't steal my phone and all this to me because the cops called her last night.
Keep in mind I go to the most ghetto school in this world and I'm scared to get in a fight. What did I do wrong? :/ help?

You did nothing wrong and there is definitely something you can do. Have them check the phone or the principal check the phone to see if its yours. If its not yours she should have no problem showing the phone but if it is and she acts up thats some evidence. Get this b*tch out of your life, get your phone and get her in trouble.

You did absolutely nothing wrong, if that's your iphone you have all the reasons to claim it. If she was a true friend or claims she didn't steal it she would have returned the phone to you because she knew who it belonged to. To avoid a fight, just make sure you stay confident, have your friends around and don't let her walk over you. If she says something, ignore her and walking away, if she repeats.. Tell her to back off, obviously not with a fighting voice. Tell her all you wanted is your phone back, and if possible try to become friends with her again, then completely blacklist her from your life.

You should have set up 'Find my iPhone' feature man even if she knew your passcode, she would've needed your apple ID to disable that feature. So when anyone next time connected to the internet, you could track your phone down.

If your phone is stolen and you have set up find my iphone in icloud on the device before, you can try to locate your device with find my iphone. Go to http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Lost-iPhone
If it does not work, it is better for you to contact your service provider and see if they can help. To prevent your new idevice from being stolen or lost in the future, I suggest you apply some free anti-theft apps like iLostFinder except set up Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod in iCloud on the device. It will take pics of the thief or finder when she/he tries to open your device with a wrong pass and then send the pics to your email etc. Hope it helps.
