My internet is extremely slow for no apparent reason?
All of a sudden my internet started going really slow a few days ago for both my computer and my phone. I scanned both and neither have viruses, tried resetting the router and the modem, tried cleaning out the computer, etc. but nothing has worked. I have no idea what could be causing this. Does anyone have any ideas?

You can additionally try doing a bandwidth speed test to see what internet speeds you are actually receiving. If you are receiving significantly lower internet speed, try rebooting the modem and router again.

Is anyone else connected to your network?, sometimes heaving downloading from high bandwidth demanding programs like Utorrent can significantly slow down a network and these programs like to run automatically in the background.

Possible: virus, malware, tracking cookie, add on, plug in, or change in Internet speed via provider.

Try: Another virus scan with different program (no virus protect catches all viruses) If you are in Windows environment and have trouble with windows update, that's a red flag. Try Windows update, troubleshooting, and fixit programs. Could be a browser problem if you are using IE. Try starting without add ons. Could be errors in your registry. Try checkdisk. Are you able to restore the computer to an earlier date? If not, red flag.

If you made no changes to your router which you probably did not.I would call the ISP and see what is going on.Whenever I have issues it's almost always a problem on my ISP end.
