Is traffic.outbrain.com a safe site?
When I had visited http://www.moneycontrol.com/news/recomme...25194.html page. In the previous mentioned webpage when I scrolled down I saw several links in Ads by Google section (Please visit this page yourself to understand what I have gone thru). I clicked on one of these links and I was sent to traffic.outbrain.com and then to a web page on moneycontrol.com itself. I fail to understand why I was sent to traffic.outbrain.com and why I was redirected from there to a web page on the same site? I would like to know whether traffic.outbrain.com is a safe site or has it put a spyware or malaware on my PC (this is because I never intented to visit this unknown site named traffic.outbrain.com. Actually, before I clicked on the Ads by Google links I had seen that the link was on the same Moneycontrol.com site and thought that I would directly be taken to that web page. But, I was not directly taken to that web page but was taken to some other site named traffic.outbrain.com and then this site automatically took me to that web page on moneycontrol.com itself. So I am worried. Because I never expected that I would visit traffic.outbrain.com when I clicked on the link in Ads by Google which showed the link belonged to moneycontrol.com itself.

All these links claim to be of Moneycontrol.com. And since Moneycontrol.com is a safe site and when I hovered over the links shown in that "Shaded Section" of "Ads by Google" I saw that the links were pointing to pages on moneycontrol.com itself and so I thought that if I clicked on those links I would be sent directly to those pages. But, the strange thing was I was first taken to traffic.outbrain.com and this site redirected me to those linked pages. So I got worried whether this site traffic.outbrain.com might have sent some maliciousware on my PC to keep a track of what I was doing in net surfing. So the reason why I expect you to click like I did (provided you ha

I don't get what your ad clicking is about, I can tell you the OUTBRAIN.COM publicity site, registereed to a New York address has been around for 8 years and has a Google page rank of 6, which usually only 'authority' sites earn. I assume the India site Moneycontrol.com is paying them for advertising.
