My mom won't let me hang out with friends?

I'm a sophmore in high school and my parents never let me hang out with my friends.my parents on a corner store and we go there everyday to work but they say they don't want me to get a bad influence because I live in a bad neighborhood I understand but I don't want to by myself all the time that's boring
