I want a WiFi router ?

So i wanted to get a wifi router to play my xbox 360 slim online but i never had a wifi router and i heard i need a computer so what exactly do i need and also my computer screen is cracked so i let my internet get cut off but anyhow what would i need?

You need a router and a modem. You don't necessarily need a computer, but you will not be able to change your router settings without one, meaning anyone can access your network.
