hi, im from india , i had an idea of building a social network like for ex(fb, twitter) but my site is totally varied from this it has its own style , so i made an prototype, and showed to the specified people who r gonna use it, they are intrested in it , and they r intrested in it they like the features in it , now i want to bring it im just now having the design , i would like to move it to next level, what sholud i do im a civil enginerng studnt i am not a codder , where could i make it , i would like to make this thing in usa , can i get visa for this kind of job, to make my site what should i do where should i go help me.

What type of maintenance would it require? How much funding do you have and how much would your proposed social website require - and would the funding be adequate to cover the maintenance till it reaches the inflexion point......

Why would you want to go to USA? Lot of work is being done in India (including us) Unless you are confusing leisure and travel with it?

As Lalit suggests there is going to be lots of maintenance that needs to be done continually by a team, not just one person.

those social sites are hard coded, not platforms like WordPress or Joomla

your team does not have to be where you are or where it is hosted, research the search engine duckduckgo.com to understand what they have done.

I would think one focused on India or Asia would be a huge success. there are many companies in India that are making great strides in global business eg: Tata Motors, Hero motorcycles
