My Dish internet isn't working right.?

I recently got a new HP laptop. My internet pretty much only works when it wants to. I ran the troubleshooter and it said " The connection between your access point,router,and cable modem and internet is broken. I can unplug the router a few times and it will finally work. Is there a solution without having to call dish to come and fix it?

Id start with checking ur cables. Once uve determined u can get to the router then u can go further and connect to the gateway at ur end if it stops there then u know the problem is with dish. U can run a tracert in command prompt to http://www.google.com and it'll show u were it stops.
