Famous people do have emails and all the rest.

That being said, they don't always share everything with everyone.
Like email addresses that only their family and friends know about so that they don't have to scroll through thousands of fan mail letters just to get to an email from their mom or whatever.

If a celebrity is smart, they won't release any personal contact info, such as phone or email to fans so that they don't get spammed by them. They might have an email or phone number for friends and family that they don't tell other people about, as well as a "fake" facebook page, phone number and email that is released to fans and never checked. Some don't even bother with fan info, which is why it appears they don't have facebook, email or yahoo. Another reason is because it is not mandatory to have any of these to be human.

Lots of famous people do have a facebook account. Just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Obama does. He was on my following list when I used to have Facebook. Other celebrities do ,too. My girl, Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser was pretty active on her Facebook and used to post pictures and sometimes answer her fans. I haven't been on there for a couples of years but I assume things haven't changed drastically.
