If it isn't comments on twitter it's films on youtube or offencive facebook pages. To me the obvious solution would be not to bother with such things on twitter, youtube or facebook (there is an 'off' button) . The latest doesn't involve the internet at all and is about some MP yelling at a bunch of coppers that they are a bunch of plebs. Don't MPs do that to everyone?

It's called political correctness gone wrong. Unfortunately people don't have a complete freedom of speech (in the UK) and are free enough to express their dislike towards issues most of which are everyday frustrating ones. It's human nature to complain about every little thing and helps people relate with similar experiences, it's only a problem when the story gets blown out of proportion and eventually the law gets involved, thats when people get effected.

People who are constantly being "offended" or "insulted" are very insecure about that aspect of themselves. They should that in their pipe and smoke it.
