How to set up T mobile internet on my laptop & why error message?
I am trying to set up T mobile internet from a USB stick on my laptop. I click on my computer & it says ' an unknown programme wants access allow or don't allow' I clicked allow & I had to choose a destination folder it had a default one so I allowed it, it started installing but then suddenly I got the message " Cannot copy files C:\Users\aaa\Desktop\T mobile net\T mobile Internet Manager, please make sure the file is not currently in use. Close any programmes and try again." That file wasn't in use as far I know.

Anyway I tried again using many different files & even made a new one but still getting this message. Can anyone tell me how to fix this & get the internet set up on my PC?

I'm guessing you are trying to use your phone as a modem for your laptop, though your phone allows this connection t-mobile doesn't just like my network, Lycamobile, my phone has the function to either use my phone as a WiFi hot spot or direct via usb, the sim is dedicated for data just on phones. I'm guessing the reason is, a phone uses a very small amount of data but when you hook up to a laptop or p.c the the data usage will be much higher, so if you have unlimited plan the cosy to the phone company would be very high, your only real option is to buy a dongle with a data plan, again this sim would be a dongle dedicated sim and will not work in your phone.
