well there are many web 2.0 blog sites but the best is wordpress , sites.googles.com

I think you should start out at http://www.blogspot.com - I created my first blog there and it was quite easy.To get more readers, submit your blog to search engines and different portals that welcome you. There are quite a few websites that need new stuff to propose to their subscribers.
