One of my friends at work I think was presed into printing off 3 pages of my persoanl Facebook profile at work and it was given to the HR Manager, there was only a few comments about work but they weren't bad, the rest were about a problem I'm having with an ex business partner.....They have been trying to use it against me. Does it break any privacy laws at all?

No, you hung it out there for public consumption on Facebook. That hardly makes it private.

When you post stuff on facebook you basically leave it for the world to see, if however they obtained information that they were not privileged to the point is debatable as to whether they did wrong.

Your friend who gave them the info has broken a confidence, your employers have been very clever because she has given this information freely.
Print out her pages and give them to HR them block her,
Also tell everybody what she has done.

David is very wrong. Facebook is considered public domain. There is no expectation of privacy on public domains. Anything you say can be used against you.

If you do your washing in public, you shouldn't be too surprised when someone sees your drawers.

hahahha.............. you stuck all this "personal" stuff on a site which many millions of people access on a daily basis and you want to see if any privacy laws have been broken??

Grow up please. If you stick your life on the web then it is basically open for all to see.
