selling an itemon ebay?
i sold an item on ebay, and the item was to be sent within 5 working days, and on the 3rd working day, recieved a message from the buyer, asking where the item was and they immeadiatly opened a case?, i replied telling the buyer to wait untill 5 working days, well i did post out the item, and this was on a friday so would expect the buyer to recieve within those 5 days, i have messaged the buyer asking them have they recieved the item yet, but no responce,
i believe they have now recieved the item and have not responded to messages, and the case is still open, will this mean ebay will take funds from me, because of the lack of responce, and i am unsure what to do. will ebay lawfully take this money. Ads |

Do you have any proof of having sent the item? Receipt from the post office?
Some buyers can be right pains. I had one grumbling and complaining about his item not having arrived but unlike you, I got the chance to get in first with my story and I'm not sure if he ever did report me or just threatened. Anyway, I sent eBay my side of the story and it would pay if you did the same. That way you look like you're aiming to be responsible and that's going to improve your chances. Make sure you include any proof you have of sending the item. Ads |

You MUST use tracking or you can't prove they received it. Proof of shipping something is useless. You must prove they GOT it. If you didn't use tracking PayPal will refund their money. It's the rules and in the US it's law. The seller is responsible for delivering the item in the stated condition.
