Router not picking up modem?
So I have never had a problem with my NetGear Router! Never.

Everything was working fine. I left home for a week on business and when I came back my internet is not working. I called Time Warner and we found out its not the modem because I'm able to connect with the line. ? We couldn't figure out why the router is not working though?

Anyone have any idea?

Try a hard reset to factory default settings, and then configure it as if it was brand new according to the instructions you got from your ISP. It is possible a glitch in the power line cause it to "lose" it's configuration. Sometimes this kind of response can be caused if you have a "brownout" where the power does not go off completely, just goes low in voltage. There is a point when a computer is losing power that the CPU goes insane and since the CPU is god, it can do anything in that condition, such as write to memory that it shouldn't and wipe out it's own programming. Look in the documentation for how to perform a hard reset. No guarantees, but it IS worth a try...
