Download is interrupted or ends prematurely?

I have been facing this problem for a while. I have tried whatever I could but no avail.

When I download some files over 100MB, they ends prematurely (download is completely with only some portion of it) or interrupted. When I bought this laptop, there was no problem like this.

I made some research for answers and tried downloading in IE, Firefox, Chrome - but didn't work.
I tried it after turning off my vaccine program - didn't work.
I tried using internet download manager - didn't work!
I tried it after deleting all the temporary files - nope.

This issue has been really a lot of pain to me now. Anybody has any idea??

How are you connecting to the internet? Are you using wifi or ethernet? DSL or Cable?
How much data are you allowed on your internet? Could be youre signal is dropping while downloading, or that youve hit a data cap placed by your ISP.
