Pay people lots of money and they will run the Internet for free and Ads will not be needed, in the mean time just turn off your Computer and all the irritating ads disappear.

Ads on the internet pay for the free services we use; in the same way as with television. The alternative is to subscribe, as applies to the BBC TV Licence, and other pay to view packages.

In addition, I'd like to pour some honey on the topic. If you cannot beat them (ads), why not join them (make more ads).

The idea above seems like a joke but actually its reality and practicality. Also you will understand better the ads systems put in the internet and why it's there. On the surface, it's for revenue but there's something deeper there.

Know why you use yahoo services for free? It's the ads that make it free. Pay a premium Yahoo account and you'll get lesser ads.Also with all the other free services.
