Should I respond to this email from my professor?
I recently contacted my professor asking for a one day extension for a paper that's due, and in response he was very nice and told me I could have the whole weekend to work on it. I know there's not really much to be said after that, but I also feel it would be rude not to somehow thank him. Would that be expected? If so, what should I write?
