Don't worry, it's just a fake ad they put on to scare people and so the gulliable will give them money. Don't pay, just stop watching it or go to a different website, no need to worry.

That was NOT the FBI. It was a scam. It's been happening a lot lately. DO NOT give them any personal information. You won't get in trouble, because its not the real FBI.
Dont do anything it says. Do a virus scan to be sure but don't do anything else. It's not the real FBI. It's not real. It's a scam. |

It's ransomware. It locks down your computer, and tells you to pay a fee, or get in trouble with the authorities. Whatever you do, don't pay it! You need to reboot into Safe Mode with Networking, and run your antispyware program. A program like Malwarebytes free edition would be even better. If you have another computer that you can use to download it, get a flash drive, and be ready to install Malwarebytes once you reboot your infected computer into Safe Mode With Networking.
If you don't have another computer, reboot your infected computer into Safe Mode with Networking anyway. Download Malwarebytes, let it update, and run it. |
