here are specialty ecommerce site hosts with shopping carts and payment processing already in place which simplify the process. Some have free "Baby" accounts that you can try with a small number of products.

You may find that getting prospects to the site may be a bigger and more expensive process than getting up the site, using a marketplace site like Ebay, Amazon, Etsy is simpler and they help you get prospects, at a cost..

Well there are least 2 ways:
1st is to get Wordpress and setup WooCommerce (or other eCommerce for Wordpress)
2nd is to use ready eCommerce solution like http://www.upshotcommerce.com/ecommerce-software or even hosted Magento

Of course each way had pros and cons and they can't be switch vice versa on-fly. Only change of URL schemes can kill your traffic and all SEO efforts.

The easiest part is buying the domain name. You can go to your preferred registrar, such as http://secure.webneto.com/ecommerce/shopping-cart.aspx as it is one of the easier ones to use.

Buying a domain is only one part of setting up your website you also need a web hosting plan that comes often comes with a year of subscription that often don't come cheap. The best place to buy a domain name would be GoDaddy and Hostgator along with web hosting too because it's affordable than other hosting sites.

To make a website you need to know CSS code or you will have to get a web designer which is really expensive to hire one your best way is to go self teach on some CSS code to build your website or you can go find a site where you can get free website but it often comes with a catch. Sites to build your website is Wordpress it's the best one to use. There are site builder but I find it not that great but it's up to you if you want to.

If you want your website to be about selling other people's product then you should go for eBay or Amazon because there will be many people who is looking for other to help them sell their products and if you sign up for Amazon or eBay then your payment form or credit card form will be setup for you.

If you want to know more about business online I can tell you more just contact me because the things I mentioned here are pretty generic but I think you can take it to the next level if you approach a different way.

Hope this helps. : )

Consider on wordpress. By then, you will only spend lesser. They have templates for you to choose from. Once you have your site ready, take advantage with online form builders. I have used rushforms.com and find it interesting. They have templates so creating forms would be easier. All these don't require any computer knowledge.
