Instagram video|update problemo!?

hey. I have the Samsung Galaxy Ace and i have been using instagram for ages now. Anyway a notification came up in the app saying of the new video feature. However the app never updated or anything so i went into Google Play Store, uninstalled and then reinstalled the application in hope it would update. Nothing has happened though? I can't view nor take videos... the option isn't there.... and i dont really know much aabout this stuff but my phone is only 2months old so.... yeah. thanks for you answers in advance.

You need to run Jelly Bean Android 4.1+ to gain the Video function and as far as i know Galaxy Ace runs Gingerbread Android 2.3.

I know it sucks because i'm also stuck on ICS and can't use the Video unless if someone did a mod on APK,
