My computer just started to sceam at me. .?
Before you think I'm crazy, and on drugs, let me tell you that I am not.
I was in a skype call with my friend Sara, and all of a sudden, her computer started doing this god awful screaming. No, not squealing, or making any other mechanical noises that computers can sometimes make, LITERAL screaming. Like women in a horror movie screaming. She has NOTHING but skype open. We can't figure out where the hell this demonic ass shit is coming from. The first and second time it did it, we freaked out and started screaming for her boyfriend to come in to the room. The third time, it started, and It was like "AH!" and I was like "AHHHHHH!!!!!" back at it, and it didn't scream again. Normally it was this series of female shrieks and screams. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. Ads |

Sometimes my computer speakers pick up other people talking through some kind of sound waves or something. It may have just been that? Or maybe a popup came up that she couldn't see.

Sometimes your browser could be directed to 'scare sites' that would take you by surprise, or you're being pranked by her or site pranking both of you.
No rogue anti-spyware program would behave in such way to dupe consumers into buying their fake products. I know, because one of my friends did that and he got in trouble. |

IMHO you should have raised it better, but since it's too late to reminisce on the past, we better work on a resolution.
1) Put it in the corner of the room. If it continues to scream approach it with a firm voice and let it know that you are the authority in the household. If this does not work see 2. 2) Take away any games, social media access, or chat services. This will help to establish your prior assertion that you are the authority, but by using concrete examples. 3) Personally, I do not condone spanking, as it promotes violence. Instead, get an old windex bottle and fill it with water. If it screams, spray it directly on the motherboard. When I was raising mine, it often played dead after using this technique, and your computer will most likely do the same. Ignore it. 4) If the computer continues to scream after using technique 3, take your pills. Hopefully this was helpful. |

It's called feedback. Either turn the volume down. shut the mic off or reboot the computer. Skype is picking up the microphone sounds and feeding them back through and creating the noise. It's normal.
