Thinkng about selling some homemade jewelry on etsy?
Im thinking about starting a mini buisness on etsy, selling homemade jewlery with my sister (necklaces, braclets, polymer keychains, charms, etc.) I want to know what I need to start out? How does etsy work? Where do I buy the things to package the stuff with? What are some ways to advertise the store? Some tips on succeding? And about how much money will I need to start off and how much money will the buisness earn?

Your supposed to only sell hand crafted items you made yourself, ( judging by the number of copies of the same thing popping up not everyone abides by that) Vintage items and craft supplies are also allowed. It's a massive place with some 435,000? sellers, it pays to make something distinct with text descriptions that will be found, there is also paid search result ads, some would use ads at first jut to get more prospects to test the marketability of their product a bit more quickly. I believe you pay a 20 cent listing fee for each copy of an item sold plus 6% of the sale price.
Yoy could display your 'art' om some free social sites, maybe an etsy account that link to your store.

Search etsy for the items you want to sell to get the competition's prices, etc. there's a certain culture on etsy where prices are round numbers instead of 19.99 and packaging is a bit like a Christmas gift perhaps with some little bonus thrown in.
