How do I get some stuffpoint referrals?

Whenever I post my link on Facebook or Twitter, people think its spam and don't click it.
Some people on stuffpoint have a bunch of referrals, but I can't ever seem to get any.
Any help?

It undoubtedly is spam, if there were no rules regarding it on Yahoo Answers, every other question would be some promotion with an affiliate or referral link.

Whatever is being promoted, make a free blog site that talks about it and gets people interested enough to clock your link, it's ethical when they get what you had described, unlike the countless Free iPad offers.

You can try using social media or have a referral contest. If people sign up they can be entered in a chance to win a prize. This is just an idea, but you need to have great content to get people to sign up.
